BULLET 12.7 X 108 MM ARMOR PIERCING INCENDIARY

4.jpg

The Armor Piercing Incendiary (API) round combines the armor-piercing capability with incendiary effects upon impact. Not only does it penetrate lightly armored targets, but it also ignites flammable materials, making it suitable for engaging both vehicles and fuel storage units. The API round is recognizable by its red/black tip and is commonly used in anti-materiel roles by weapons like the NSV, KORD, and DShK. It can pierce 15 mm of armor at 70 meters while delivering incendiary damage.
