Holy Tao! Kahr Launches Auto-Ordnance TAO50 .50 BMG Bolt Action

The beast is dressed in a Magpul PRS Gen3 stock, MOE+ grip, and includes a Timney AR-style trigger and ambidextrous safety. The rig even includes an Accu-Tac bipod, helpful to stabilize that 25.5-pound empty weight. Buyers have a choice of either Black or Flat Dark Earth anodized finishes, each feeding from a Barrett M107A1 10-round magazine.  

The historic Thompson logo is engraved on the lower receiver and muzzle brake, and the TAO50 ships in a custom-fitted wheeled hard case. The FDE model on display at SHOT retails for $8,799 and is shipping immediately. While the TAO50 hits solely a civilian market, Moon believes the new rifle could be highly beneficial in military applications as well.
